Stover GC

Following many years of planning the extension to the Stover Golf Course  was finally completed   in 2023 . The extension arose as a result of the widening of the A382 road to Newton Abbott which  affected three holes  directly and a further three   indirectly.  In order to limit the disruption to the membership to a minimum the works were undertaken over a  two year period  with 4 new holes being constructed on newly purchased land  in 2022 and then the remaining holes on the existing golf course  in 2023. The new holes were built to a high specification both on the greens ,tees and the fairways and the Club are keen to develop their remaining greens to the USGA spec. used on the new holes. The construction works were carried out by Profusion Ltd and a rubber crumb used as the lining of the new bunkers.
