The Royal Automobile Club

Rebunkering - Green 12
The original 18 hole course at the Royal Automobile Club was designed by H. Fowler in 1913. It was followed later by the 18 hole Coronation Course. The Coronation course was always the shorter of the two and the Club were keen to lengthen this course and make it a more testing venue. A further 400 yards were added with the incorporation of two new holes and four new greens.

U.S.G.A. specs applied to green 7
The new holes were of a modern design built to USGA standards with the intention
of updating the entire Coronation Course to more modern specification and
design, providing a stark contrast to the original Fowler course.
