Renovation of 1st tee
A complete audit has been undertaken on the course and as part of the first
phase of works a contract was let to reconstruct and “brighten”
the first tee along with further works to various tees and bunkers on the
course.
1st tee completed
It
was felt that the first tee presented a poor impression for a club of Highgate’s
traditions. Thus the tee was enlarged, levels and specifications improved,
feature sleeper walling and steps constructed and plants included to soften
the edges. In addition all purpose matting was laid to take the golfer from
the clubhouse to beyond the first tee.
